Cambodian Art Study Tour – 21–31 January TBC
Following our 2023 exhibition All That Surrounds Us: Contemporary art from Cambodia, we’re planning a Cambodian tour in 2026. Led by exhibition curator Lauren Barlow, the tour starts in Phnom Penh exploring galleries, artspaces, private collections, artists' studios and a commissioned exhibition. We will also visit several sites essential to an understanding of contemporary Cambodia, including the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and Vann Molyvann’s modernist buildings, known as "the man who built Cambodia". Next we will visit Siem Reap’s lively art scene and nearby Angkor Wat, Cambodia's best known historical site. The final stop is Battambang, home to a famous art school and an artist's city similar to Jogjakarta and Chiang Mai.
