Australia Indonesia Art Forum bus tour 2020
The Australia Indonesia Art Forum's annual bus tour is an opportunity for art professionals, collectors and enthusiasts to connect with and learn about Indonesian art in an intensive eight day period. Beginning in Jakarta and criss-crossing Java to finish at Yogyakarta for the opening of Art Jog, the tour visits state institutions, private museums, leading private collectors, commercial galleries, art spaces, collectives and artists’ studios. We will meet collectors, curators and senior artists, and receive presentations from younger artists in Jakarta, Bandung and Jogja. There will be the opportunity to buy artworks, usually from the artists direct, and start a collection of Indonesian art. The tour runs from 17-26 July 2020.
